beauty beach, thailand my first morning on the island, there was almost a heavy mist to the area, but it wasn't raining, that was just the humidity... everything was so verdant and lush, and the jungle was furiously loud... then this beautiful thai woman happens to sashay on by... life is good... ang thong national park

this huge gecko is over a foot long. lots of bugs to eat... huge monitor lizards (about 2m) swam in the river right next to my bungalow (fancy way of saying hut)... this one was cruising over to the back of the kitchen to clean up the freshly dumped fish guts. panga pano

discount jade, thai shopping mall are you ready for this... yes, I am an eco-cheapo traveler... low-tide hiking across a sand reef to another island...
Sitting on a beach lounger, drinking a fresh coconut, I looked up and thought... a coconut oil massage on the beach is certainly one of the healthiest, most heavenly undertakings a human being should endure... these are typical massage prices.. 100 Thai Baht = $3 US... so yes, that's an hour long thai massage for $6...

this was at one of the fanciest resorts on Koh Tao than sadet pano fully saturated...
rice soup is the perfect remedy for muy thai with the toilet... amazing waterfall way back in the jungle/mountains all kinds of fresh-catch seafood everywhere...
all fresh caught that day, this lobster, one of those white snappers, and a half dozen of those monster prawns end up on our plates... (see next pic) this for four, including drinks was about $12... home sweet home
