Now I’ve heard far too many people say Burning Man has become too mainstream. Or that burners are sellouts, or just a bunch of freaks, or this or that… Then I ask if they’ve been to the Project, and the answer has always been no… Yet they criticize!

Reminds me of this college professor I took a few years ago, who once ranted for 45 minutes about what a disgrace the movie “Borat…” had been, what an insult to the Kazakh people, an insult to Kazakhstani culture, yadda, yadda, yadda, and then she concluded by saying she’d never even seen the movie and surely never would. Yet she criticizes?

I quickly dropped that class. So many haters in the world, and what does this ignorance and prejudice create besides destruction? Our late evolution has begun whether we like it or not. The end is near. A new beginning awaits.

MISSION STATUS GROOVY — Late last night, Operation Spunky Rooster met overall unprecedented success through many arduous twisted battles of mediocrity and despite the mayhem of disinformation. Drove pedal to metal San Luis Obispo to PHX in 11 hrs, plus 3-hr nap. Starter on the bus died, sucks cuz fairly new rebuilt Bosch, but of course, the starting-stopping 50 times in the Burning Man line was no bueno.

So I had to Little Miss Sunshine her all the way back to Phoenix. Lots of laughs, rollin’ hot, what a great endo summer…

so I survived Burning Man, a life changing event that everyone should do at least once… I’ll be hanging out at cabin for a little decompression…

Life is breezy the ridge up the mountain, and in all other ways quite treacherously sublime. Really now, it’s as easy as 1-2-3 endazed, a four-month spartan run to toast this epic adventure to end, and on to a new chapter, marked by this ticket treating me to join in celebration the vortex of creativity afront this que…st for clarity. Should be a Groovy Trip… Until then, may we all enjoy a wonderful summer season ~

really needed that nap! it is still scorching hot in Barstow, hanging out at a cheap hotel… literally roaches everywhere, most of them dead, probably from the nuclear heat…

btw Betty the Bus flipped her goose this afternoon. They don’t make many vehicles like this one. A cargo van, a camper, a cultural icon…. Half-million miles, about 40 years old, still going strong, and still getting 25 miles to the gallon…
